a little haul

Yesterday I finally got the Diorskin nude foundation which I have been sneaking around for weeks. I got it in 31 (sand). I had a sample and I really liked it, it seemed very light and natural looking. Plus my MAC studio fix in NC25 seems too yellowish for me, I wanted something 'not so yellow'.
Plus I found this dior backstage gloss show. It's a shimmery lip gloss in a small pot. I got it in 'lindsay pink', which is a medium pink with lots of glitters. I loved it when I swatched it but I'm not sure yet about it's effect on the lips.

Today I went to a local drugstore, dm, and they run an organic skin care and make-up line called alverde, which is not too pricey. I got an eye primer and a translucent make-up which I plan to use as a base underneath the diorskin nude.

Covergirl

All those years it has been right in front of me and I kept ignoring it. I am talking about US brand Covergirl. After crossing the way of lashblast mascara in so many tutorials/hauls/reviews, I finally decided to buy it. (There's actually a store on my way to school tomorrow so I might leave a bit earlier :)). So I looked around their website for a bit and also got very exciting about their so called 'eyeslicks'. These are eyeliners based on a gel formula and I actually never tried something like that before. All the colors seem to have a metallic shimmer which is quite cool. So hopefully I'll post a review tomorrow.

I really like trying out drugstore brands and mixing them with high end products. I am sure that some expensive products are worth the money but I'm also happy to make good bargains.

I actually received this offer from HQhair yesterday, they sell NARS and since I don't have a counter close I like to order some things from time to time.
My little angel says: You have enough cosmetics anyways and you don't need any more junk you probably won't use.
My little devil whispers that I was about to order some NARS e/s anyway and this is a great bonus. Also, the £ is rising so there is no time to lose...

getting started

As many other people, I finally made the decision to start my own blog.
This one is basically pointing on beauty, as you might have guessed already.

I want to talk about skin care, hair care and make-up and I plan to do hauls, reviews and whatever will come to my mind.
